In quegli anni l'Hip Hop inizia a farsi sentire e a spopolare, e un gruppo femminile composto da: Cheryl james, Sandra Denton, Deidra Roper, Latoya Hanson alias le "Salt'N'Pepa", sforna la sua prima grande hit mondiale, "Push It".
